Seoul is Xion’s birthplace but his family moved a lot (to Gwangju then Yongin and now resides in Suwon). Xion studied at Taejang Middle School and Taejang High School because he said he wanted to go to a school with the same name. Xion is a twin brother of ONEWE’s Domyeong, who is a former contestant of Mnet’s Produce 101 and KBS2’s The Unit. Xion and Dongmyeong were only one minute apart when they were born (Xion is Dongmyeong’s younger brother). It is said that Xion grew up hearing a lot of saying that he has a deep and cold impression, while his brother has a round and warm impression. Although Xion and Dongmyeong look quite different, both of them have long eyelashes and similar facial skeletons. Xion likes acting. Xion said he would like to appear on a show if there is a chance. Xion’s Pre-debut and Official Debut with Oneus
Before his debut, Xion was known to the public as a twin brother of ONEWE’s Dongmyeong through the cheering post posted on Instagram to support his brother in Mnet’s Produce 101 Season 2. After that, he became a small topic among fans as an aspiring actor and student. He also appeared briefly in the support video for his brother’s appearance in KBS2’s The Unit.
But, even way before his debut, he had caught many talent companies since he received a lot of casting offers when he was a student. But since at the time he didn’t dream of becoming an idol, he refused to audition every time. His modeling talent also showed when he was in his 3rd year of high school and became the cover model for the monthly reading magazine High School Reading Review released by Jihaksa. He used to vaguely dream of becoming a singer, but he gave up because he thought his singing was worse than his twin brother, Dongmyeong. Then, after he graduated from the theater and film department, he wanted to appear on stage as a singer, so he auditioned and finally joined a company after intense practice for two months.
On April 10th, 2018, Xion was first introduced to the public as a member of RBW Boyz through Rainbow Bridge World’s official channel. Then, months later, Xion was revealed to be a member of his brother’s band’s brother group—Oneus. This group has five members aside from Xion, which are Ravn, Seoho, Leedo, Keonhee, and Hwanwoong. Before making their official debut, the group released a joint song with ONEWE titled “Last Song” on September 27th, 2018.
Then the group announced that they would be releasing their debut mini-album titled Light Us with the lead track “Valkyrie” in January 2019. The company then released individual teasers and concept films for each member.
The group officially debuted on January 9th, 2019, and released the MV for “Valkyrie” within the same day. The song is a dance-pop with a slight element of hip-hop. The name was said to be derived from a character in Norse mythology named Valkyrie and also as the word-play of the phrase “to light up” in Korean.
Not long after its release, Oneus’ debut mini-album Light Us gained success internationally as it got into iTunes Top K-Pop Albums chart lists around the world. On top of that, the mini-album even topped the iTunes charts in the United States and Australia and got into the top 10 in Canada, Germany, England, Spain, and Italy.

Xion is arguably one of the prettiest boy group members in K-pop history. His beauty is characterized by unusually white skin, long eyelashes, a high nose, and nice but straight, dark eyebrows.
